Description
☀️The story of one of the sunniest and most springtime flowers ever – mimosa…or acacia? ☀️
⠀
The flowers we call mimosas belong to the acacia genus and the legume family. This genus includes 1300 different species that grow in Africa, America, and Asia. But most of them, namely 960, are from Australia. However, despite a large number of yellow acacia inflorescences, in Australia, these flowers are not presented as a gift on March 8th. By the way, women’s day on the mainland is in early autumn, not spring.
⠀
Australian golden acacias have a special name: Golden Wattle and it is their golden inflorescences that were named the floral emblem of Australia and are represented on the country’s coat of arms along with a kangaroo and an emu.🇦🇺
⠀
Does mimosa even exist? Yes! 🎉
⠀
A plant called Mimosa exists in Australia, one of them is the Bashful Mimosa. If you touch the leaves with your fingers, it folds, and the branches go down. However, after 20 minutes of shame, the leaves unfold, and the plant bounces back.😊
⠀
Supreme Camellia wishes all women to be loved and enjoy a luxurious festive bouquet, be it mimosas, tulips, roses, or other flowers.💐💫
